Jesse Connor's Bio:
Born, raised and educated in Pittsburgh, I've always had a fondness for home. I'm currently residing in St. Louis and working as an Events Designer. It is in the act of creating "art", painting, sculpture, theater and event design that I find the same comfort as home. Depending on others as well as yourself to imagine, encourage, trust and respect one another, working as a team to make vision vision a reality. I graduated from Point Park University in 2009, obtained my B.F.A. in Theater Arts with a concentration in Theatrical Scenic Design and pursued an additional year studying Costume Design . Would I be willing to relocate? Sure, as long as it would be for the right reasons. Since graduation, I've free lanced in Pittsburgh at a variety of theater companies such as Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theater (Charge Artist), Bricolage Production Company (Set Designer) and Carnegie Mellon University's School of Music (Charge Artist). By working free lance I have been able to slip away for the past four summers and work at establishments such as The Santa Fe Opera (Painter 2011) as well as Stages St. Louis (Summers 2012 -2014). From working as a freelancer I have found it is best to keep an open mind. By doing so I have been able to try my hand at interior design, residential mural work, painting/designing the most random of subjects, life drawing modeling and even performing or choreographing a musical. Wherever my career takes me, as long as I continue creating worlds and creating art, I'll be home.
